It is incredibly exciting that in the 4 years since we launched Bax Botanics alcohol free spirits the perception of grown up, alcohol free drinks has changed so much.
Products like ours are no longer seen as a new, slightly suspicious ‘niche product’ but now get centre stage alongside traditional alcohol based spirit drinks.
No more so than in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, one of the most prestigious of it’s type.
We are thrilled to announce that Bax Botanics has achieved remarkable success at the renowned 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).
Our non-alcoholic spirits brand seized not just one, but three double gold medals and a silver medal, medalling for every product in our portfolio.
Winning amidst an ocean of over 5500 contenders is truly a remarkable feat and we are truly thrilled that we have been recognised for the “unparalleled quality and craftsmanship” of Bax Botanics.
Now in its 23rd year, the SFWSC is the oldest and largest spirits competition in the USA and certainly one of the world’s most prestigious spirits competitions. This year 65 industry judges from around the world, including major retail buyers, world renowned bar owners/mixologists and decision makers blind tasted over 5500 entries from around the world. Medals here are considered a high honour in the industry across all spirit categories.
A Double Gold medal is the ultimate testament to excellence, the most sought-after accolade. This quote from the organiser speaks from the heart “Honestly, you guys swept the competition. I couldn’t believe it. Not only did you double gold in both RTDs but also in spirits, you have no idea how rare that is!”
This recognition is given to very few entries and has only once been bettered since the category was introduced.
Bax Botanics is the first British Alcohol Free Spirits brand to win such high medals at The San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).
