2019 Great British Food Awards shortlist Bax Botanics alcohol free spirit
The shortlists have been announced for the Great British Food Awards 2019 and our Sea Buckthorn alcohol free spirit is on it …wooo hoooo.
It is our first competition entry, in our first year, so we had no idea what to expect, we love the flavours, but for the drink to be understood and loved by the Great British Food tasting team is a good feeling and to be shortlisted is an amazing endorsement and most importantly super exciting.
They say ‘an unprecedented number of brilliant quality entries’ were put forward for judging. They have been whittled down to eleven Non-Alcoholic Drinks including two alcohol free spirits which will go through to expert judge Miguel Barclay. We have to wait until the 17th October to find out the winner and runners up. ….I wonder … Keep everything crossed!!!!!
Sea Buckthorn alcohol free spirit is stocked in all Booth’s supermarkets as well as many other outlets. You can buy online from us directly, or from one of our online partners.

About the Great British Food Awards 2019.
The Great British Food Awards were launched in 2014 to celebrate the country’s finest home-grown ingredients, as well as the hard-working folk who produce and cook with them. This year, the awards are bigger and better than ever, with lots of new categories and amazing celebrity judges, including Raymond Blanc, John Torode, Monica Galetti, Michel Roux Jr and lots more!
The shortlisted products in each category will then need to be sent to our esteemed panel of judges for them to pick their winning product, as well as two highly commended products.
Finally, the winning product in each category will be sent to our final expert judge, for them to pick our overall winner – The British Product of the Year.
